Notes:
Plate is analysed by Finite Element Method (Bilinear Mindlin Bending Plate Element)
M
x = moment per unit width, stretching the fibers in X - direction
M
y = moment per unit width, stretching the fibers in Y - direction
M
xy = twisting moment may be used to add to the effect of orthogonal moments Mx and My for the purpose of determing the steel reinforcement
Q
y = shear per unit width, on the plane perpendicular to axis Y
Q
x = shear per unit width, on the plane perpendicular to axis X
Units: Shear- kN/m; moment - kN.m/m; deflection - mm
Instruction:
The origin of coordinate system is at the lower left corner
For uniform loading (q
0) and vertical loading (V f), out of screen (tension) is positive, otherwise, it is negative
For flexural moment about Y axis, streching the fibers in X direction (M
fx), with right hand rule, positive in Y dirction
For flexural moment about X axis, streching the fibers in Y direction (M
fy), with right hand rule, positive in X dirction
Considering layout of plate thickness, and locations of piles and loading, this function meshes the whole plate to elements automatically and intelligently
If adjacent loading or piles are less than element size /4, please combine the loading or piles in one location
Input the loading for one location in one load case
If there is crossing rectangular area of two types of plate thickness, the latest thickness layout will cover the previous one
